How it learns

Every app gets better the more you use it.

Most trade apps hand you the same defaults forever. Ours ask how the job really went and adjust. Over a few weeks, the estimates start looking like your numbers, not a spreadsheet's.

Estimate

The app makes its best guess on hours, material and waste.

Close out

When the job's done you log the real hours and leftover sticks. Takes a minute.

Correct

The engine compares guess to reality and quietly tunes your defaults.

Summers Labs was founded in 2026 by Christian Summers, a carpenter and cabinetmaker who runs Summers Woodworks in Garden City, Idaho. The apps began as tools to speed up his own bids and installs. They worked, so now they're being built for everyone who swings a hammer for a living.

What we collect. Our apps store your jobs, measurements and price lists on your device. If you choose to close out jobs, the app sends estimated-versus-actual figures (hours, material counts, whether a bid was won) to our servers along with an anonymous device identifier. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location unless you give them to us directly.

How we use it. Job figures are used to improve the estimates the apps give you and, in anonymous aggregate, other users. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Where it lives. Data is stored with Google Firebase in the United States and protected by access rules that let a device read only its own records.

Your choices. Closeout logging is optional. To delete your data, email support@summerslabs.app from the device's app and we will remove it within 30 days.
